Our Troop is chartered by the Christ Community Covenant Church of Arvada, Colorado. We have been around since 1999 and have been having fun ever since!
This is a Scout-led troop that uses the patrol method to teach scouts leadership, character, citizenship, and physical fitness. We are mainly a backpacking troop, but don't be worried if you are inexperienced. Our scout leadership will guide you through the ropes to become an expert! If you don't like backpacking we also do many other fun activities like
Rocket launching, Snow sports, Rock and ice climbing, and Shooting sports!
We also go on a Spring Break Trip to an exotic location every year, go on a troop high adventure trip and try to go to Philmont, Northern Tier or Sea Base on a rotating cycle. In 2018 we will be going to the Northern Tier and in 2019 we're headed to Philmont.
We hold Troop Meetings on Mondays at 7:00 PM at Christ Community Covenant Church in Arvada. Go on campouts at least once a month, and conduct community service projects throughout the year.
